H. W. REYNOLDS, of the Athens Mills Company,
Meadville, was born in Meadville, August 26, 1852, grandson of John
Reynolds, and son of William Reynolds, of Meadville. He is now a partner
with his father in the Athens Mills Company, one of the most important
manufacturing enterprises in this city, employing about forty hands, and
making a

specialty of the manufacture of doors, sash and
window blinds. The mill was first started in 1868, by William Reynolds and
William Thorp. Since March 1, 1877, when Mr. Thorp sold out, he has been a
partner with his father and general business manager. He was married in
1876 to Cora A. Mosier, a native of this county.
