D. S. RICHMOND, manager of Conneaut Lake Ice Company (limited), Meadville, is the second son of Hon. H. L. Richmond, of Meadville. He received his education in Allegheny College. In 1874 he embarked in the lumber business under the firm name of Richmond & Delamater. In 1879 he was elected to his present position as manager of the Conneaut Lake Ice Company, a history of which appears in this volume. He has been City Auditor and member of the City Council; is a member of the I. 0. 0. F. He is one of Meadville’s most enterprising business men. In 1880 he was appointed Supervisor of Census of the Tenth District of Pennsylvania. In politics Mr. Richmond is a Republican.
